Operations Management
Schedule : M-F 12-8 : 30PM must be flexible with schedule to fit inbound and outbound schedules and needs
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function.

- Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and / or business support staff
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers
- Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
- Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and / or projects
- Gains consensus from various parties involved
- Has in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools within own area
- Makes decisions, often difficult and / or unpopular, by carefully weighing pros and cons and acting for the benefit of the work team; coaches / supports subordinates in their decision-making efforts

- Works within budgetary / financial objectives set by manager, applying knowledge of profit drivers to work processes within own area
