Quality Systems Group Leader – Ft. Lauderdale, FL The Opportunity Our client is a global equipment manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a Quality Systems Group Leader for their Ft. Lauderdale, FL location. This position is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality management systems while coordinating audits, tracking actions, and leading quality engineers, technicians, and auditors. Other responsibilities include : Coordinating and conducting internal QMS audits while tracking actions and compliance measures Supporting manufacturing quality initiatives Promoting the control of documents and records within the quality system framework Leading and mentoring quality team members while facilitating problem-solving across organizational levels Qualifications include : Technical degree in science, preferred bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with minimum five years of experience in a production environment Certified Quality Auditor (i.e., ASQ CQA) with comprehensive ISO 9001 knowledge Familiarity with Quality-Tools like TTM, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, ECR, and problem-solving methodologies Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate teams and influence across all organizational levels Effective written and verbal communication in English with willingness to travel domestically and internationally Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
