This Surgery Scheduler is full time days working for Northwest Medical Center Houghton supporting our Cardiology / Pulmonology Clinic!

Summary :

Responsible for the scheduling of procedures for Surgery, GI Lab, Cath Lab, and appointments for Preprocedural Screening / Preadmission Testing.

Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Education :

Required : High School diploma / GED or equivalent experience

Experience :

Required : One (1) year surgical scheduling experience or two (2) years in scheduling role in physician office

Preferred : Surgical scheduling experience

Skills :

Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed. Medical Terminology and Anatomy preferred.
