Job Overview :

LPL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer and this individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of our Infoblox (IPAM,DNS,DHCP) platform and LAN / WAN / Hybrid Data Center environments. The position directly relates to providing scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions for LPL, our Advisors, and their clients.

Responsibilities :

Engineer, architect, and manage IPAM, DNS, DHCP within our Infoblox platform both on-prem and cloud.

Manage our Enterprise IP addressing scheme, both private and public.

Automate workflows, manage usage / performance and integration with network tools.

Manage, design, and support our core network routing & switching environments.

Collaborate effectively with various Teams within the organization.

Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues and develop continuous improvement.

Participate in an on-call schedule rotation.

Requirements :

Advanced / expert knowledge and experience of DNS / DHCP / IPAM specifically within the Infoblox platform.

5+ years of core network engineering (routing & switching) and architecture experience.

Strong knowledge of DNS protocols, security, and IPAM management.

Advanced knowledge of Cisco.

Advanced experience with Infoblox.

Core Competencies :

Proven ability to meet designated deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology with business acumen.

Experience designing, architecting, planning and implementing routing, switching and data center solutions and strategies in multi-vendor environment.

Preferences :

Experience with automation and Infoblox APIs.

Cloud Networking (i.e. AWS, Azure) experience.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range :

100,575-$167,625 / yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
