REPORTS TO : Senior Director, Clinical Support
Employment Status : Full Time
Reg. Hours Worked : 40 / Week, Exempt
Salary : $70,000,- 80,000 / yr DOE
JOB SUMMARY :
The Clinical Program Manager for the PORT Team will provide oversight of day to day outreach activities through supervision of the Peer Outreach Specialists on the PORT Team and collaboration with the Pasadena Public Health Department. The Clinical Program Manager manages all administrative and program reporting, tracks program outcomes and ensures accuracy and timeliness of program documentation. The Clinical Program Manager is also responsible for providing clinical services on the team, including field-based mental health and substance use assessments, short-term and crisis interventions, client care plans, clinical consultations, and resource linkage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE , but are not limited to the following :
- Provide direct supervision, training, and support for Peer Outreach Specialists, including hiring, leading staff meetings / case conferencing, and conducting performance evaluations for program staff.
- Collaborate with the Pasadena Public Health Department to support the PORT team in meeting performance standards and working toward improved service delivery that is trauma-informed and aligns with Housing First and Harm Reduction.
- Provide clinical services through regular co-location and field-based outreach activities, including mental health and substance use assessments, short-term and crisis interventions, client care plans, clinical consultations, and resource linkage.
- Build trust and rapport with individuals experiencing homelessness, community partners, and other staff.
- Ensure that services provided to outreach participants are voluntary, person-centered, and client-driven.
- Participate in Prop 47 Advisory Committee and PORT evaluation activities.
- In coordination with the Data & Quality Assurance team, review case files and QA processes to ensure compliance with reporting and documentation guidelines, in preparation for audits.
- Monitor and approve program expenditures, including petty cash, debit card expenditures, and check requests, to ensure the effective management of program budgets.
- Track and provide statistical data to support grant requirements.
- If applicable, provide supervision to MSW interns working within the program.
- Other duties as assigned.
