What You Will Do :

• Lead project management and process design for new water treatment facilities, lift stations, review existing water / wastewater treatment facilities, prepare reports for proposed equipment / systems upgrades and replacements, and present your findings to clients and regulatory agencies
• Conduct business development and develop client relationships in the water / wastewater industry
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply various treatment technologies, equipment, and processes to optimize performance or ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and apply the results to water / wastewater treatment plant configurations
• Develop specifications and drawings such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for senior drafting technicians
• Assess impact of changing DOH, EPA and MPCA regulations for specific client needs
• Travel to client and vendor locations for design reviews, field verification of designs, proposal presentations, and business development activities
