World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining World Relief's website. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the user experience through effective user interfaces.  The ideal candidate will have proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages, experience with web development tools, and an understanding of SEO principles and web design aesthetics. Additionally, familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, and content management systems is essential.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaboration-focused : Working with internal team members and external stakeholders / clients to develop the overall look and design of World Relief’s webpage
• Collaborating closely with backend developer and UX designer to create and update user interface that enhance the user experience
• Updating product based on user behavior and feedback from team and stakeholders
• Development-focused : Producing, maintaining, and modifying website and user interfaces to build solutions that bridge our organization and users
• Writing website code with programming languages such as HTML, C++, and Java Incorporating content, graphics, audio, and video clips into our website
• Ensuring published digital products are accessible and user-friendly across different platforms, including laptops and smartphones
• Optimize website for a balanced approach of quality and speed
• Troubleshoot and fix any website issues or bugs that arise
• Stay informed on our tech-stack updates and emerging technologies

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

60,000 - $65,000 a year

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
