Job Description : Location : Plano, TX

Duration : 6 months

1. Provide operations support for Enterprise LAN, Security, Data Center, and Campus Network platforms across North America locations.

2. Installing, configuring, and supporting network WLCs and Access Points.

3. Provisioning of network wireless equipment / AP on DNAC.

4. Implements and integrates Cisco Client with wired data, wireless infrastructure, and VPN as well as posturing and client provisioning.

5. Builds and analyzes Client rules to comply with client network security policies

6. Build / Develop Client rules scripts with associated change documentation to meet project goals and deadlines.

7. Deep Troubleshooting skillset on Client & DNAC.

8. Basic understanding on SDA Fabric controllers and SDA LAN.

9. Configuring & managing Cisco Client infrastructure and access policies.

10. Conduct and or coordinate site surveys, develop site plans to gain total coverage of facility.

11. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

12. Arranging scheduled upgrades

13. Conduct wireless site surveys utilizing spectrum analysis technologies, recommend and implement corrective action.

14. Investigating faults in the wireless network

15. Resolve incidents / problems / Changes according to established procedures

16. Work on Service improvement activities and completing it within the target dates.

17. Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.

18. Work closely with customer, Infrastructure teams and vendors such as Cisco.

19. Reporting network status to key stakeholders"

Essential Skills :

Experience working in Cisco Wireless Controllers (5500s, 9800s) and Cisco Aironet 9100, 4800,3800,2800 Access Points.

Strong understanding on Cisco Client infrastructure and AAA.

Implementing Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), DNAC with Wireless Network Technologies and Meraki Solutions.

Strong experience with Tools like Cisco DNAC, Cisco Client, PagerDuty, Data Dog & Thousand Eyes.

Strong understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, 802.11 b / g / n / ac standards. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with analysis tools such as Ekahau, Wireshark, etc

Deep understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) switching technologies including Cisco Wireless, SDA, DNAC, Client, Virtual LAN (VLAN), STP, Trunking and Wireless concepts.

Strong knowledge in Switching technologies - STP, Trunking, Ether channel, HSRP, VRRP, LACP, PaGP

1. CCNA Wireless Certified.

2. Experience in configuring Cisco Wireless LAN & Light Weight Access Point Solutions.

3. Strong work experience working in Cisco Client models.

4. Cisco Client experience to understand how Client works and integrates into wireless

5. Knowledge of AAA protocols such as DIAMETER and RADIUS and experience testing applications using these protocols.

6. Guest access Client guest access.

7. Flex Connect Experience on a large scale.

8. Work on daily service tickets while engaged on enterprise wireless deployments.

9. Strong experience with both centralized and local Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.

10. Strong experience with Cisco Lightweight Access Points.

11. Strong understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, 802.11 b / g / n / ac standards.

12. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with analysis tools such as Ekahau, Wireshark, etc.

13. Thorough understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture.

14. Strong work experience working in Cisco Client models

15. Strong working knowledge installing, configuring, and supporting Cisco Router / Switch and Wireless LAN Hardware products.

16. Cisco knowledge with network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of routers, hubs, switches, Controllers, Access points, and cabling in a large enterprise LAN / WAN / WLAN environment.

17. Maintains familiarity with wireless security and ensure wireless network security is deployed.

18. Familiarity with Client Active Directory, DHCP, DNS"
