Job Summary
The Dispatcher is a critical team member responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, booking service appointments, and dispatching technicians based on skill, location, and availability. This role ensures a seamless daily workflow and delivers exceptional customer experiences through outstanding verbal communication and efficient service coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Call Management : Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate service information and following up on leads, estimates, and appointments.
- Appointment Scheduling : Convert customer inquiries into scheduled appointments by identifying needs, providing quotes, and confirming service details to meet sales targets and customer expectations.
- Dispatch Coordination : Assign technicians to jobs based on skill, location, and availability, ensuring efficient route planning and timely service delivery.
- Data Entry : Accurately enter and maintain customer and service information in the dispatch software, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date.
- Customer Service : Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with a professional, solution-oriented approach, escalating issues when necessary.
- Technician Support : Communicate appointment details to technicians, assist with service-related inquiries, and ensure they have all necessary job information.
