Familiarity with PCB layout, electronics housing design, and digital / RF packaging standards. Working knowledge of Air Force TOs, metrology tools, and mechanical inspection processes. Ability to develop and manage detailed BOMs, drawing packages, and configuration-controlled documentation. Contribute to technical proposal efforts as part of a program capture team. Support internal and external design reviews, Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) activities to demonstrate the mechanical design meets all specifications and customer requirements. The ability to critically examine new or existing designs, verifying proper design principles application. Ability to support mechanical system and component alignment, testing, troubleshooting and evaluation Experience interfacing with machine shops and fabricators to ensure manufacturability and quality. Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM (user-level required; admin-level preferred). Experience in Configuration Management and quality documentation practices; Working knowledge of ASME Y14.100 standards Exposure to Altium CoDesigner and wire harness design Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional project teams and manage engineering tasks independently.
