Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders with clarity and precision. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices in data science and quantitative modeling. Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Quantitative Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in a data science or quantitative role, preferably in the financial services sector. Proven expertise in solving complex mathematical or statistical problems using large datasets. Proficiency in Python and / or R, with deep experience in data manipulation, machine learning libraries, and statistical modeling tools. Experience with financial data (market data, alternative data, economic indicators, etc.) and understanding of capital markets or risk modeling. Solid foundation in probability theory, time-series analysis, and optimization techniques. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical results to non-technical audiences. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and distributed computing. Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI and Tableau. Published research or contributions to open-source investment data science projects. Background in robust statistics, financial modeling, and private markets.
