A company is looking for a Converged Technologies Field Engineer. Key Responsibilities Perform client-site servicing, repair, and installation of telecommunications systems and equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures while minimizing customer downtime Provide technical support and recommendations to improve system performance and customer satisfaction Required Qualifications, Training, and Education General knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems Mitel telecom certifications, A+, NET+, CTP, and CCNA are required Six+ years of field support experience with at least one year in telecommunications installation Experience supporting VoIP, IP Telephony, and Unified Messaging is strongly preferred Practical experience in network design and management of LAN / WAN systems is preferred
