Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in dry-type (VPI) distribution transformer design . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting the production of VPI transformers in compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. This is a key technical role within our engineering team, contributing directly to product quality and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design dry-type (VPI) distribution transformers up to 10MVA, 33 kV based on project and customer requirements
• Understand customer specifications and get necessary details for transformer design
• Prepare transformer Electrical design meeting all custom requirements and manufacturing drawing packages (core, winding drawings) and bills of material to issue to production
• Check & Verify Mechanical drawings (Outlines & fabrication).
• Work closely with sales and production to ensure the custom design is done according to customer requirements.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical drawings, design reports, and compliance documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum Minimum 2 years of experience in dry-type (VPI) distribution transformer design
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical design principles specific to dry-type transformers
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, DOE16, UL) for transformer design
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
