In the role of Geotechnical Engineer, we'll count on you to :

• Scope, plan and execute site characterization studies and field and laboratory investigations
• Scope, coordinate and manage work by geotechnical subconsultants including drilling firms and testing laboratories.
• Prepare geologic and geotechnical designs, sketches, plans, specifications and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Support and execution of geotechnical engineering analysis and design of foundations, retaining walls, site grading, subgrade, and ground improvement, static and pseudo-static stability, and pavement design
• Be responsible for several aspects of a small-scale project or a single aspect of a larger scale project
• Provide quality control / quality assurance reviews of geotechnical deliverables including those prepared by subconsultants
• Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
• Provide construction phase support services including review of construction quality control and quality assurance reports and data
• Coordinate workload through project execution and complete assigned tasks and deliverables on budget and schedule
• Perform other duties as needed
