Manager Of Graphic Design

Thuma is seeking a talented and ambitious Manager of Graphic Design who has an exceptional eye for minimalistic and sophisticated design, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive to make a meaningful impact at a design-focused company and provide leadership to the Graphic Design team.

The Manager of Graphic Design will play a key role in developing compelling, on-brand digital marketing materials that captivate audiences and enhance our brand presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate brings a deep passion for typography, color theory, layout design, composition, film, and photography, combining these elements to produce innovative designs and videos that effectively meet marketing and brand objectives. In addition, this role includes leading and mentoring coaching and developing a small team of graphic designers, inspiring creativity, fostering professional growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cohesive work that aligns with the brand's vision.

Thuma's Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. This role is based in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the wider Thuma team by designing for web, print, packaging, ads, emails, and more. This role will provide a lot of creative support to our Growth Marketing team.
• Manage the creative process for assigned projects from concept to final delivery.
• Continuously assess and refine design workflows / processes, developing frameworks that enhance collaboration and efficiency for both the design team and stakeholders involved in the creative process.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet stakeholder expectations, while proactively identifying opportunities to refine and expand the brand's visual identity.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop world-class creative that consistently sets new standards and drives innovation.
• Cultivate a positive, collaborative team culture that emphasizes a design-first mindsetprioritizing the development of exceptional creative work while deeply understanding design culture, history, and emerging trends.
• Possess a collaborative mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the adaptability to effectively manage multiple projects while seamlessly coordinating with external partners and cross-functional teams.
• Present design concepts and strategies to internal teams, articulating the creative vision and how they align with business goals while collaborating to refine and optimize based on feedback.
• Guide and mentor junior team members by sharing industry best practices, encouraging creative exploration, and fostering an environment that supports their professional growth.

120,000 - $140,000 a year
