Job Description
Summary
Point of Care Program Coordinator II reports to Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, ICCE Director of Operations. Under the general supervision, the Point of Care Program Coordinator assists in the development of a culture of safety within the department. Using direct rounding in laboratories and tracking data / trends, the Point of Care Program Coordinator assists in developing recommendations to improve both employee and patient safety. Additionally, this role assist in overseeing quality evaluations to ensure Pathology and Laboratory laboratories are compliant with all regulatory agencies, i.e. pipette calibrations. This position coordinates survey activities and accreditation requirements of the College of American Pathologist.

Education and Experience : Bachelors Degree and 2 years work experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years experience required.
