METRC Compliance Administrator

Are you a METRC expert with proven success in cannabis compliance and inventory management for a cannabis distribution or vertically integrated company? If so, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! Viridian Staffing's client is looking for a METRC Compliance Administrator for a fast-growing Cannabis company about 15 minutes outside of Victorville, California. This position will require being on-site Monday - Friday from 8 am - 6 pm. Cannabis industry experience is required.

You will be focused on the METRC system and inventory management. You have an eye for continuously trying to improve processes and are data-driven, allowing you the opportunity to provide insights to C-Level Executives at the company. Your strong attention to detail will enable you to monitor stock levels on a variety of inventoried items. You will have the opportunity to develop systems, procedures, and methods to ensure timely and accurate reporting to the METRC system across all company divisions. You will also be responsible for auditing / reporting on METRC, ensuring compliance. As the Administrator, you will manage two direct reports, and you are known for not only your ability to influence and inspire to action your direct reports, but also those who do not report directly into you with your enthusiasm for compliance.

You should have extensive knowledge of the METRC system, expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel proficiency in creating formulas, are familiar with regulatory requirements for operating Cannabis facilities, along with at least 2+ years of hands-on cannabis industry METRC experience. You should have experience leading METRC and compliance activities for a Cannabis Distribution or Vertically Integrated Cannabis company. You also have worked with other ERP and Seed-to-Sale systems. Ideally, you have experience with systems such as Canix, Trym, etc. You should have specific examples of times you've inspired to action individuals who didn't report directly into you and how you have designed and implemented controls to ensure compliance throughout the organization. If you excel at being detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication and analytical skills and are a strategic thinker, we look forward to receiving your resume.
