DDR Functional Validation Manager

THE ROLE :

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic leader for the memory validation team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD's product, you will manage a small team of DDR functional validation engineers to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry leading technologies to market. The memory validation team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.

THE PERSON :

As a validation manager, you are expected to engage in critical debug activities, drive innovation in tools and methodologies, mentor junior team members, and provide input on key technical planning activities. In this high visibility position, your validation expertise will be necessary towards product development, validation execution, and root cause resolution. As a leader in DDR Validation, you will provide direction, priority, and technical growth for the validation team members to accomplish the DDR functional validation charter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Drive a team to develop and execute memory functional validation test plan, content, and validation strategy for AMD server products to achieve product quality and timeline milestones.
• Work closely with supporting teams in server design, memory IP development, firmware and diagnostics, enablement of memory features during bring up, and debug of memory related issues throughout the product life cycle.
• Driving technical innovation to further grow AMD's validation capabilities
• Team resource planning for AMD's server roadmap including different phases of product life cycle.
• Debugging issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
