Web Designer- Intermediate Labor Category : Web Designer - Intermediate Location : Fort Eustis, Virginia Required Clearance : SSBI Required Certification(s) : Required Education : Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Required Experience : 10 Years Position Description : Exeter is seeking an Web Designer to support our proposed staffing plan for the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Proponent Office-Army Training Information System (TPO ATIS). TPO ATIS supports the development, delivery, and management of Army training and education information systems, supporting applications, and data on behalf of TRADOC in support of its Training and Leader Development mission, the Army Campaign Plan, and other Army, Department of Defense (DOD) and Joint doctrine and policies pertaining to the conduct of military operations and the training required to prepare for and execute those operations. This contract will provide functional analysis, design artifacts, functional reviews, and programming feedback on ATIS development, gathering and subject matter expert (SME) analysis of ATIS requirements, mapping of ATIS and ATIS legacy system requirements for traceability, and minimal support of ATIS legacy system compliance with policy and with functionality sustainment until they are sunset. It will also support repositioning and repackaging of legacy systems, as well as support actions of the ATIS legacy systems sunset working group. Intent is that legacy systems may move from current hosting locations into a data center such as Acquisition Logistics and Technology Enterprise System and Services (ALTESS) to support their eventual transition into cArmy cloud. Legacy systems will be repackaged in containers as they are moved. Goal is to ensure no negative impacts on the legacy users during these technical moves. Documentation formats and tools will be adapted, as needed, to conform to the expected agile development approach leveraged on the ATIS development effort. This contract consists of four distinct areas : Analysis, Reviews, Training, and Tier 2 help desk support. Preference in hiring will be afforded to applicants with current or prior experience providing technical support services to the TPO ATIS. Primary Responsibilities : Exeter is seeking a Web Designer for the ATIS Support contract. The Web Designer designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools (i.e., RoboHelp, which was used in developing current Help features). Web Designer should have three or more years experience designing and developing user features, special-effects elements, creating and maintaining user Help features. The Web Developer will : Design and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.

Design templates, layouts, graphics, animations, and other related materials in support of web applications / solutions using web graphic design tools that have been approved and designated as standard automated tools.

Design the website to support the organizations strategies and goals relative to external communications.

Contribute to the design groups efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organizations online offerings.

Design and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.

Qualifications : The Web Developer : Experience commensurate with position in the use of web-based technologies such as : HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and / or other design-related applications.
