The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and administer the company’s computer network and systems, including hardware, software, network backbone, and telephone communications. The individual will ensure system reliability, security, and scalability while providing user support and implementing improvements.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Perform systems administration and provide user support for applications, databases, and telecommunications.
Maintain Hyper-V Cluster and monitor healthy replication of virtual servers.
Manage network topology, troubleshooting procedures, and documentation.
Deploy and configure new virtual servers as required.
Set up new users, troubleshoot hardware / software issues.
Configure and maintain Firewalls and switches.
Ensure network reliability, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues.
Manage and maintain VoIP infrastructure.
Perform and monitor network / data backups.
Monitor network security and implement safeguards to prevent cyberattacks / unauthorized access.
Troubleshoot Office issues (bounce back emails, NDRs, DNS, MX records, etc.).
Create and configure Group Policies and Organizational Units to improve security.
Perform administrative tasks in Syteline and Salesforce (new users, permissions, printers, etc.).
Develop custom reports using Salesforce, SQL, Microsoft Access, SSRS, and Power BI.
Research and recommend new software / hardware to enhance security and productivity.
Assist Director of IT with process improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats.
Maintain and rotate passwords on a regular schedule.
Perform software / firmware updates as required.
Handle network-related tickets through Atera.
Maintain and troubleshoot Wi-Fi systems.
Required Skills & Attributes :
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and applications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Expertise in Hyper-V, IP, DNS, DHCP.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Dependable, with consistent attendance and flexibility in schedule.
Education Requirements :
High School Diploma required.
in Computer Science or related field preferred.
