Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager

Reports To : Director of Inside Sales, North America

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead and grow our BDR team. This individual will be responsible for building a high-performing team focused on pipeline generation, nurturing qualified leads, developing outbound campaigns, and supporting the overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing outbound sales or lead generation teams and possesses strong coaching, analytical, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of BDRs, ensuring high performance and consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching sessions.
  • Foster a positive, goal-oriented team culture focused on collaboration and professional growth.
  • Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute inbound & outbound strategies in coordination with Vertical Sales, Product Sales, and marketing leadership to drive qualified leads and meetings for Account Executives (AEs).
  • Set and track performance metrics such as outreach volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and meeting targets.
  • Implement and refine BDR processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead qualification.
  • Collaborate with AEs and sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff of leads and consistent pipeline development.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, campaign effectiveness, and prospect insights.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze team performance using CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership on BDR team results and pipeline contribution.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications :

  • 3- 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • 12 years of experience managing a sales development or comparable industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation goals.
  • Strong understanding of outbound prospecting techniques, lead qualification, and sales cycles.
  • Experience with Sales Tech Stack Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Linkedin Navigator
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Product Development Solutions
  • Knowledge of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
