Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capability. Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college / university, OR Associate’s degree in a technical or vocational field with equivalent practical experience. Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Engineer / Designer on behalf of a forward-thinking engineering firm in Honolulu, HI. This role offers a mix of hands-on project work, leadership opportunities, and professional growth. You will contribute to both small-scale and large-scale projects while collaborating with a senior team that values innovation, professionalism, and continuous learning.
In this role you will :
- Perform engineering calculations and develop plan markups under the guidance of senior engineers or principals.
- Manage site work independently and oversee project progress.
- Attend client and project meetings alongside senior leadership.
- Support construction administration, including site observations and adherence to safety standards.
- Mentor and oversee junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Complete design documentation (schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration) for projects of various sizes under supervision.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company core values.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
