Summary :
The Instructional Designer supports the organization in the review, design, development, and evaluation of innovative learning solutions, including instructor led materials, e-learning modules, virtual training, simulations, job aids, and performance support tools.
Responsibilities :
Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs by gathering data, measuring outcomes against performance objectives, and recommending improvements.Applies adult learning theory, instructional design models, and user-centered design principles to develop effective learning solutions such as e-learning modules, simulations, job aids, assessments, and blended learning curricula. Collaborates with stakeholders to integrate appropriate technology and learning tools into the curriculum to maximize learner engagement and retention.Partners with the Instructional Design Manager and subject matter experts to conduct needs analyses, identifies learning objectives, and designs instructional strategies aligned with business goals.Maintains knowledge of emerging instructional strategies, technologies, and trends to continuously enhance the organizations learning offerings.Revises and updates content based on learner feedback, evaluation results, and evolving industry best practices.Creates and maintains high-quality instructional materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, or similar tools, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Complexity of Work : Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, detail-oriented, project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Familiar with Articulate certification preferred. Knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360 etc. and LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Cornerstone, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia or other editing software, digital video technology and editing software packages for production and post-production. Knowledge of Fair Use / Copyright laws.Required Work Experience : Two (2) years of experience in Instructional Design and e-Learning design.Other Information : Additional Education Info : Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Communication, or a related field required. Additional Certification Info : Certification in instructional design or eLearning (e.g., ATD, Articulate Certification) preferred.
