Summary Statement :
The Trainer – Security Programs, Recruitment & Compliance is responsible for managing the full training lifecycle for security personnel, from onboarding and academy operations to instructor development and in-service compliance. This role ensures seamless integration of new hires, maintains regulatory training standards, and enhances instructional quality through data-driven evaluation and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Primary Job Duties : – Includes but is not limited to :
- Lead onboarding and academy instruction for new hires, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Develop, certify, and monitor instructors for AVADE, BLS, and FTO programs.
- Coordinate in-service training cycles in alignment with gaming regulations and staffing needs.
- Maintain training schedules, attendance, and progress tracking using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, SharePoint, Power BI).
- Ensure compliance with instructor-to-student ratios and training delivery standards.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with HR, Security, and Learning & Development to align training with operational goals.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design to enhance curriculum and delivery.
- Manage training logistics including classroom setup, materials, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure audit readiness.
- Recommend and implement improvements to training methods and content.
- Use personal device / cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications : – Includes but is not limited to :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security training, law enforcement, or military service.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.Experience managing training, logistics, including scheduling, classroom setup, and resource allocation.Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in gaming, safety, and security.Proven ability to develop and deliver structured training programs, including AVADE, CPR / AED / BLS, and FTO.Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Preferred :
CPR / AED / BLS certification.AVADE Instructor certification.Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.Minimum Education and Experience :
At least 21 years of age.High School Diploma or equivalent.Prior Hotel / Casino Security Leadership, Military, Police or Emergency Services.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations :
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Ability to obtain the following : Valid NV Driver’s License.Must obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration.Must pass a marijuana screening.Must obtain and maintain AVADE and CPR / AED / BLS Instructor certifications.Physical Demands :
