Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other related field of study

Internship or 1+ year of experience in data / finance / statistical analysis

Proficient in advanced Excel functions (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)

Experience with working with large data sets and ability to manipulate information in Excel

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Analyst Assistant to join our District Administration Services Group. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities related to the long-term collection of bonded and special taxes, assessments, fees, and charges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public administration, finance, accounting, and public works, and will oversee various aspects of district administration.

Responsibilities include :

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships and addressing inquiries.
• Manage diverse administrative tasks essential to ongoing operations within the annual cycle.
• Analyze and manipulate large datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure client adherence to laws and regulations in government and taxation.
• Administer special district finances, including database management, financial tracking, and tax / assessment calculations.
• Interpret legislative code sections and legal documents related to special district bonds, offering insights and recommendations.
• Utilize mapping tools for spatial analysis to enhance decision-making processes.
• Identify potential issues or liabilities and work with Project Managers to devise effective solutions.
• Deliver high-quality work products through thorough quality control reviews.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to prioritize tasks, ensuring timely delivery of superior deliverables.
• Engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Senior Analysts and Project Managers.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment, effectively managing multiple projects and tasks.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager to meet evolving business needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85 / hr.
