Control & Equipment is seeking a passionate, outgoing and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to become a key member of our sales team. The ideal candidate will be confident in their ability to find and create strategic partnerships with clients to promote our building solutions for HVAC, Building Automation and Test, Adjust and Balance.
Responsibilities :
This position deals primarily with Building Automation, Commercial HVAC, and Test and Balance services. Generates quotes and proposals, and processes orders from customers / distributors / end users based on standard departmental and procedures while ensuring compliance to customer requirements.
- Works under general supervision of sales manager and / or peers to ensure policies, procedures and guidelines are followed in the timely and accurate completion of quotations and sales orders.
- Participates in and completes all product and procedure training sessions and demonstrates a minimum Level I Competency in all relevant areas.
- Communicates proactively with sales personnel, customers, distributors, and end users to understand and meet customer’s requirements for the quotes / proposals that are produced. This may include but is not limited to such communication as missing requirements, requesting additional information, providing cost / margin calculations to sales, lead times, etc.
- Serves as a single point of contact, develops and maintains a professional relationship with assigned customer base and accounts.
- Prepares quotation approval documents ensuring the correct authorization and signature workflow is respected, and keeps them in the individual order and proposal records
- Follows all applicable company policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Associates degree with 3 years of inside sales around services, products and features with HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and construction preferredAbility to build rapport with clientsPositive and professional demeanorMust be able to use CRM (customer relationship management) software to update client and site visitsMust be able to gather information such as equipment data plates in various locations such as roofs, mechanical rooms, basements and crawl spaces as needed in order to produce an accurate sales solutionMost possess exceptional communications skills for in person, over the phone or email communication with clientsMust be able to work with little supervisionAvailability to travel as required by companyValid driver license with no major traffic violations and / or DWI / DUIAdherence to prescribed safety standards and policiesMust be able to walk, stoop, sit, stand, kneel for extended periods of timeRequired to climb ladders and access / traverse varying roof environmentsMust be able to furnish basic hand toolsPhysically capable of moving / lifting 50 lbs when requiredBenefits :
