The Hardware Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering support to Raytheon programs to ensure compliance with contractual company and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

• Use critical thinking resources and methods to improve product design; minimize inspection; resolve manufacturing defects / problems; complete such specialized quality functions as data preparation analyses and reporting.
• Perform product and process audits for compliance to various standards and product requirements.
• Support process improvements initiatives.
• Support Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis on processes and products to prevent product defects and mitigate risk
• Support implementation of product Quality Control Plans
• Lead and support root cause and corrective action activities
• Act on all applicable material product and equipment alerts to prevent impact to product reliability using the nonconformance and / or purge process
• Manage dropped and damaged hardware processing and incident reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Project).

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and / or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
