Infrastructure Senior Technical Analyst

Citibank, seeks an Infrastructure Senior Technical Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties : Support complex global deployment of multiple Remote Access infrastructures globally across Citi’s data centers. Collaborate with internal teams on change coordination for efficient working of Citibank’s Remote Access Service (RAS) infrastructure. Formulate and define system scope and objectives for complex, high-impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems, and industry standards. Provide day-to-day support to proactively monitor current services and environments to ensure optimal performance for users while preventing network impact. Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues. Communicate impact and propose risk mitigation options. Document and analyze Remote Access Services issues and proactively resolve issues for infrastructure and escalations from L1 and L2 support teams. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams on timely response to design and analyze resolutions. Assess risk when implementation decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for Remote Access Service availability, the firm’s reputation, and safe-guarding Citi, its clients, and assets. Create and maintain security patches and configuration changes for Remote Access Services while following all security norms. Provide coordination testing and validation for corrective measures in response to a security threat or vulnerabilities found. Work closely with multiple teams globally dispersed to ensure overall objectives are achieved. A telecommuting / hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements : Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation operating and maintaining network infrastructure. Two (2) years of experience must include : Troubleshooting production issues with traces and conducting root-cause analyses; Performing traffic monitoring analysis and peak capacity documentation; Upgrading devices and servers as per vulnerabilities assessment reports; Planning and creating implementation plan, Backout Plan, and Test plan for changes to be deployed on servers; Utilizing Linux command line to troubleshoot cases and run commands on Linux-based CLI; and Building and maintaining network infrastructure and monitoring packet flow. 40 hrs. / wk.
