About the Opportunity

A leading global company in the medical technology and life sciences sector is seeking a Senior Director, IT Supply Chain Solutions . This is a highly visible role with succession potential to a VP position, offering the chance to drive transformative change across a complex, regulated global supply chain.

You will lead a team of 15+ IT professionals, including managers, and serve as the primary IT business partner for Supply Chain leadership . The scope spans sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery —ensuring cutting-edge IT solutions drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned IT leader to step into a pivotal global role with impact across technology, operations, and business strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape & Execute the IT Roadmap : Define and deliver a comprehensive IT solutions strategy that aligns with corporate goals and drives global supply chain transformation.
  • ERP & Planning Systems Leadership : Lead large-scale implementations and optimizations of enterprise solutions (Oracle ERP preferred; advanced planning tools such as Kinaxis Maestro a plus).
  • Team Leadership : Inspire, develop, and elevate a high-performing IT team of 15+, including three managers, ensuring engagement, accountability, and performance.
  • Stakeholder Partnership : Act as the trusted IT business partner to senior supply chain and regulatory leaders, driving alignment and influencing key decisions.
  • Operational Excellence : Deliver measurable improvements in process efficiency, system performance, uptime, and adoption. Establish and uphold global service level agreements.
  • Change Agent : Lead technology-enabled change initiatives with confidence, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption across global operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years of IT leadership experience in global, regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences, aerospace, pharma, automotive, or defense preferred).
  • Proven record of large-scale ERP implementations (Oracle ERP strongly preferred).
  • Expertise across supply chain process areas : Plan, Make, Source, and Order / Deliver.
  • Strong understanding of advanced planning tools (Kinaxis Maestro, Oracle APS, or similar).
  • Exceptional stakeholder influence skills — able to challenge, guide, and collaborate with senior executives.
  • Leadership style : Inspiring, decisive, and strategic, with the ability to reset and elevate team performance in a “controlled chaos” environment.
  • Educational background : BS / BA in Business, Computer Science, or Supply Chain (MBA or consulting experience strongly preferred).
