Rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major / Essential Functions
- Direct reporting line from the burn center director to institutional leaders.
- Work closely with the burn center nurse manager for all staff related issues, all bylaws and operating procedures / policies.
- Oversee all therapy disciplines (PT / OT / Speech) with input in training, scheduling and patient care.
- Responsible for scheduling and oversite of all providers for inpatient and outpatient including trainees.
- Collaborate with other divisions including trauma and plastic surgery.
- Foster interest in burn surgery in addition to teaching and mentoring, the burn center supports 2 one-year fellow positions.
- Complete autonomy to determine wound closure options of all types (CEA, BTM, Integra, recell).
- Complete oversite of a healthy burn foundation developed via philanthropy that produces equipment and research funding annually.
