Title : Microwave Technician - Day Shift

Location :

1 Position Located in : Remote Testing Facility near Half Moon Bay

1 Position Located in : San Leandro, CA

Business Unit : Randtron

Primary Function :

Responsible for testing and troubleshooting microwave components, sub-assemblies and final products to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

Day Shift : 5 : 00am - 2 : 30pm

Major Responsibilities :

• Performs set-up and checks accuracy of standard microwave bench test equipment, such as sweep generators, network analyzers, and frequency counters.
• Performs microwave test, takes measurements and tunes products to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoots components, sub-assemblies, final products and / or systems and test equipment to determine cause and remedy of mal­functions.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment used to test an­tennas.
• Evaluates, tests and recommends commercial test equipment for use in the production test department.
• Interfaces, as directed; with other departments to resolve problems regarding testing or assembly.
• May provide work direction to lower-level technicians.
• Performs data review and trend analysis on antenna data.
• Test, evaluates and recommends special purpose test fixtures as re­quired.
• Performing maintenance, repair and / or fabrication of production test equipment (production and
• prototype).
• Assists in the verification, development and documentation of test procedures and special applications as required by interpreting product specifications.
• Performs limited, intermittent physical exertion. Works under ac­ceptable conditions with some distraction due to occasional ex­posure to noise, dust, heat or chemicals.
• Accurately reduce all data to real numbers for final atp's.

Additional Requirements :

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $66,000 - $123,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
