Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an international project team environment. Familiarity with technical documentation including project plans, technical specifications, engineering drawings, design reports, quality records, software, procedures, work instructions, safety related documentation and construction records is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent coordination and organizational skills are essential. 2 to 3 years document control experience in construction preferred. Must have working knowledge is Aconex or other Engineering / Construction Document Management systems. Must possess the ability to organize, schedule and coordinate own workload to meet. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional, Publisher, and Visio. This position is primarily indoors. This work environment may involve minimal exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and / or loud noises. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Document Controller organizes and maintains project drawings, documentation and related information related to design, procurement, quality, construction, commissioning, and operations.
Responsibilities :
- Handling intake, scanning, verification, and storing documents.
- Filing and archiving relevant documentations.
- Retrieving files for other employees and subcontractors when needed.
- Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department.
- Reporting errors or developments regarding document storage.
- Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.
- Updating and maintaining document management systems and physical records.
- Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
- Assisting employees with accessing documents through our document management system.
