YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY :

The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the engineering staff to meet design, new product development by performing the following duties personally or through the engineering staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Review customer specifications and recommend design alternatives.
• Supervise and lead engineers and technicians who design mechanical structures and provide the appropriate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Work with the Program Management Office to assure that Stage Gate requirements are identified and met.
• Also work with the PMO to improve the process over time.
• Provide support and technical guidance to assembly operations, quality assurance, testing and Improve the end-to-end processes
• Oversees the technical aspects of key projects and maintains performance reports, data and analysis.
• Assures that the design and engineering activities support the overall project schedule
• Supervise and approve project cost estimates, provide input to and sign off on proposals
• Provide support to the Supply Chain Manager in the selection and qualification of new suppliers
• Hire, train, and mentor the engineering and supporting staff.
• Provide engineering and technical support as required to the Sales and Marketing team
• The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.
