Manager of Instructional Coaching
This position provides leadership and training for their team to support the whole child, whole family approach, deepen reflective practice, and build and apply data utilization expertise. The Manager will partner with teams across the organization to implement the organizations programs, projects, and initiatives with integrity and accountability. The Instructional Coaching Manager is a highly effective leader who supervises a team of Coaches to develop their ability to effectively provide embedded professional development through planning, coaching, goal setting, and feedback to increase teacher and child outcomes.
In this role, you will serve as an instructional coach as well as manage 2 other instructional coaches. In general, we expect your time will be split as follows : 80% coaching and Professional Development support; 20% management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Child Outcome Management
- Oversees the development and implementation of programs and strategies through curriculum, assessment, and data utilization; reviews coaching strategies and process to ensure consistent outcomes for children.
- Coaches assigned classroom to improve Teacher practices and child outcomes.
- Demonstrates effective practices and provides ongoing training and coaching to coaches and teachers on site that is directly responsive to individual teacher needs and questions related to research and best practices in early childhood education.
- Analyzes data with Coaches, Data Manager, and leaders regularly to maximize student performance and ensure student growth.
- Utilizes the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) to provide an ongoing measure of the teacher-child interactions for purposes of professional development; uses common metric and vocabulary of CLASS to describe various aspects of interaction across three dimensions of quality including : emotional support, classroom organization, and instructional support.
- Ensures that ethnic and cultural backgrounds are appropriately recognized and integrated into the curriculum, classrooms, programs, and services; provides opportunities for cultural competency development activities.
- Ensures systematic and integrated comprehensive program services to ensure children are school ready as defined in the school readiness goals and developmental framework.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to discuss children's progress and ensure their individual and group needs.
- Assists Professional Development team in onboarding content for Teachers across Ed Services.
