Position Title : Maintenance Technician

Resort and Location : Cliffs at Peace Canyon

Department : Maintenance

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Reports To : Maintenance Manager

Position Summary :

The Maintenance Technician will report to The Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Technician position is primarily responsible for supporting the physical needs of the property. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing and addressing the physical needs in each of the units (repairs and replacements).

Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to :

Specific Responsibilities :

• Replace lights inside guest rooms, riser and trash rooms, stairwells and corridors.
• Replace fixtures, ballasts, and outlets as needed.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs to faucet and shower cartridges, toilets, caulking and snake drains
• Replace sofa bed inserts, repair and replace broken tables, lamps, appliances
• Repair doors, change door knobs, lockets and other door repairs
• Replace AC filters in rooms, and vacuum AC panels
• Repair pool gates, replace Jacuzzi parts in units
• Respond to emergencies and other needs as required
• Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful and courteous demeanor always
• Always Ensures Outstanding customer care
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Position Requirements (Skills / Abilities) :

Experience :

Minimum of one year of multi-unit (hotel / apartment / condo) maintenance experience preferred. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. OSHA 10 Certified preferred.

Education : High School diploma or GED required.

Flexible Scheduling : Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his / her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and weight. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
