The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.

The HVAC Team is engaged in the following :

• Design and Construction Activities
• Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
• Facility Types - Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures and Energy Storage buildings.
• Systems - HVAC and Plumbing.
• Type of Areas - Power Generation Hall, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers / Air Compressors, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

The Team

The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Black & Veatch's 3 market sectors- Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. In in this role, you will be engaged with exciting projects across the globe. From small community improvements to grand-scale Mega Projects, you will be Building a World of Difference through infrastructure growth and development while learning and focusing on your own individual development.
