Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, you are responsible for the hands on patient experience for a positive in person and telemedicine experience. The Medical Assistant is responsible for the first point of contact with our patients prior to seeing a provider during their virtual visit. The medical assistant is responsible for the administrative duties in supporting medical staff in implementing effective paperwork flow, record keeping processes, and administrative processes. This is a float position for our three Anchorage facilities, serving a variety of patient populations including adolescents, children, and adults. Shift : 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Telehealth Management : Efficiently conduct telehealth services, including patient registration and initial interviews.
• Administrative Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulatory standards by handling patient consent processes and paperwork accurately.
• Documentation Accuracy : Provide precise and timely documentation support to staff, maintaining organized records.
• Patient Care Coordination : Assist in optimizing patient care delivery by coordinating patient flow and provider schedules.
• Patient Engagement : Engage patients' families and caregivers in treatment plans, promoting understanding and participation.
• Phlebotomy : Performing phlebotomy draws for adults and children.
• Vitals : Performing vital signs for adults and children.
• EKG : Administering for adults and children.
