About the Team

The Specialist, Process Engineer will report directly to the Quality Assembly Manager, the role involves overseeing the general assembly manufacturing processes, in the same way will manage the activities and staff for the specific control plan / torque quality inspections, performing process audits, and implementing quality control measures. Additionally, the will manage the development and maintain written quality standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality products. Experience with VDA

Location & Travel Expectations :

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.
• The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company
• Travel : Domestic and international travel approximately 30% of the time. Driver's license and passport required.

What You'll Bring

Education / Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in a technical related field.

510 years of experience in automotive assembly quality or manufacturing quality engineering, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Experience with cross-functional vehicle systems and multi-stage quality assurance (BIW, Paint, Trim, Final Assembly).

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
