Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship
Location : Phoenix area branch, located in Tempe, AZ
Undergraduate : Rising Junior

What is Building Automation?
Siemens Building Automation Systems is a building management system (BMS) that automatically manages and controls all systems within a building. These systems include lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire detection and notification, CCTV, door and window controls, water and waste management. It consists of sensors, controllers, software and communication devices. Siemens offers building automation systems for all building types and sizes, and for every use. The system is designed to manage a wide range of building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, security, fire safety, and other critical building functions.

What you will do as a Building Automation Systems Project Management Intern
- During this 10-week internship program, you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure
- 80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.)
- 10% of your time with be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services
- 10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customers
- You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire / Life Safety, Security, and Energy / Sustainability Systems

You’ll Benefit From The hourly pay range for this position is 24 per hour for first time Interns or 28 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
