Overview :
The Director of Recruitment is responsible for managing the national recruiting process of identifying, building, and cultivating relationships with prospective volunteers and recruiting partners. This requires developing relationships with key constituencies including leadership and staff on recruiting campuses, former Jesuit Volunteers and other stakeholder institutions to support a national recruitment strategy. Throughout this work, the Director promotes the Jesuit Volunteer core values – Ignatian Spirituality & Reflection, Simple Living, Intentional Community, and Social & Ecological Justice – in all engagement and programming.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Recruitment Planning : Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent volunteers aligned with the organization's mission and values.
- Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of three recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Candidate Sourcing : Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, partnerships with universities, and community agencies.
- Marketing / Branding : Promote the organization through branding, events and outreach efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with department heads and leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Metrics and Reporting : Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to leadership to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Compliance : Ensure all recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
