Intro / Job Brief
Are you a leader in the construction industry with a passion for analysis processes and people Were seeking a Technical Manager to lead our team of Technical Leads Consultants and this key role youll be the driving force behind the quality of our technical deliverables ensuring our team is equipped with the best processes training and resources to this leadership position youll work closely with our Practice Area Leaders Experts and Leadership Team to ensure our technical operations align with the companys strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical Team : Provide direct management and mentorship to our technical staff including Technical Leads Consultants and Analysts. Youll manage performance conduct reviews and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Personnel Management : Youll be involved in the entire employee lifecycle. This includes participating in the interview and selection process for new Technical Team members developing and executing onboarding plans and conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews. Youll also provide constructive feedback set professional development goals and act as a mentor guiding career paths and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Drive Quality and Standards : Oversee the development and implementation of technical standards and processes to ensure the highest quality of all technical deliverables. Youll also be responsible for quality assurance across the department.
Process Improvement : Youll establish and enforce best practices for technical work products from data analysis to report generation. This involves regularly auditing project deliverables to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations. You will also create systems for team members to provide feedback on existing processes enabling continuous improvement.
Training Coordination : Working with the Director of Product Development you will develop a structured training curriculum for new technical hires that covers company tools methodologies and best practices. You will also identify and organize ongoing training opportunities for the team to stay current with industry trends and new technologies.
Meeting Coordination : You will organize and lead a regular rhythm of meetings to maintain an effective workflow. This includes a daily huddle to align on priorities and address immediate bottlenecks participate in a weekly regional sync and lead a monthly Technical Forum to review overall department performance celebrate successes and plan for the upcoming month. Youll ensure the quality and effectiveness of the meetings proposing a new rhythm as needed.
