Our client is seeking a GIS Mapper to support work related to recording and producing information associated with the construction, operation, and maintenance of utility systems.

Duties include :

• Maintain the GIS connected model using information from work management systems, as-built construction drawings, work orders, completion records, field reports, and other sources.
• Perform analysis and queries to assemble data, and prepare reports, charts, tabulations, and maps from asset information and other data sources.
• Produce standard prints and ad-hoc plots for field requests with information derived from the connected model.
• Maintain service point data and its relationship to feeding source transformers.
• Track the lifecycle of utility asset data, including history, inspections, and attachments.
• Resolve conflicting data, mapping, connectivity, and land issues through office or field investigations.
• Support major projects such as facility relocations, load rearrangements, and new business.
• Perform manual or computer-aided drafting.
• Operate office equipment such as printers, plotters, duplication machines, and scanners.
• File records and data associated with the work.
• Operate a car or light truck when required.
• Assist other employees in the office, plant, or field.
• Perform other similar skilled work as assigned.

Pay Range : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
