Willing to occasionally, as needed, work outside of normal business hours to troubleshoot problems and facilitate projects. Experience in plastics manufacturing, especially extrusion, equipment design, process development, and polymer science is preferred.

We are searching for an exceptional professional, detailed oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to perform the role of Mechanical / Reliability Engineer at our Houston and La Porte, Texas US manufacturing facility.
A Reliability Engineer will have a deep interest in data and numbers, often collecting and analyzing key data metrics from processes or components. From here, he / she can create statistical analyses, charts, drawings, and reports to help illustrate and showcase potential issues within a product lifecycle or business process and how to improve it. Many of these issues involve taking a macro look at other factors and helping businesses make the best decisions.
Typical daily tasks but not limited to :
- Identifying and reporting on potential failures within a process
- Designing new systems
- Applying general engineering knowledge to solve problems.
- Performing tests and analysis
- Check new systems or installations.
- Work closely with budgets and finances to help reduce costs.
- Conduct routine engineering calculations.
- Liaise with relevant teams on outcomes of tests / analysis.
