Program Manager CISO Operations
The Program Manager, Cyber Security Operations will act as a strategic partner and advisor to the CISO, ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and efficient decision-making within the Office of the CISO (OCISO). This is a key leadership role requiring exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology and business processes.
Responsibilities include acting as a strategic advisor to the CISO and members of their leadership team, collaborating with the Chief of Staff to the EVP, CTIO ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives and cross-functional priorities, establishing, managing and leading program plans focused on maturing cross-team operations in support of team objectives, representing the CISO in meetings and by email with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on operational maturity and program execution, creating and distributing executive level communications, presentations, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the CISO based on their strategic and tactical priorities, supporting the CISO in meetings by capturing, assigning, leading and / or tracking the completion of corresponding action items, providing regular updates to senior leadership on the status of security initiatives and the overall security posture of the organization, fostering a culture of security awareness and ensuring that all employees are trained on security policies and procedures, acting as the liaison between CISO and other executives and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the appropriate time, supporting and partnering with the CISO and the OCISO leadership team on strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making, working with each OCISO leader to facilitate timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the Office of the CISO, monitoring progress, identifying and working with each leaders on addressing potential risks and issues, and ensuring alignment with relevant deadlines, partnering with OCISO leaders on researching and implementing alternate tactics and strategies when Office of the CISO priorities are at risk or team-specific or cross-team operations are proving to be inefficient, creating and maintaining processes to enable effective project and operational visibility across all OCISO teams, establishing, maintaining, and reporting on team-specific KPIs spanning security and compliance operations and projects, supporting each Office of the CISO leader in managing and addressing cross-team challenges, supporting OCISO leaders with project coordination and business administration including but not limited to managing budgets and expense alignments with Finance, identifying and leading the remediation of alignment issues internal to the team or the larger organization in cases where they are or have the likely potential to seriously disrupt planned objectives, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to OCISO staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and supporting the CTO in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in technology, management information systems, business administration, or a similar field (Masters preferred), 8-10 years of Information Technology management and / or program management experience, experience managing programs with Cloud Technologies required, management experience with Risk Management i.e. ERM / Cyber, 4-5 years of experience in developing short and long range strategic plans, forecasting, and budgeting, and a track record of organizing and directing multiple teams, departments and projects. Qualifications / Skills include executive-level written and verbal communication skills, highly effective time management and organization skills, critical thinking problem-solver, strong relationship builder, detail-oriented, and patient, positive and flexible.
