Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Logistics Coordinator. This position will facilitate communication between sales and distribution in all facets of the supply chain. The logistics coordinator can expect to work on various logistics documentation as well as presenting the company in a professional manner assisting customers, CDL drivers, and any other miscellaneous clerical tasks that may be assigned.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and laws.
• Responding to customer inquiries and maintaining a professional relationship with customers by being the central mode of communication.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Making shipping arrangements as necessary.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
• Preparing bills and invoices.
• Processing and handling of shipping and receiving documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• SAP software skills.
• Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.
• Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.

Requirements : Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

3-5 years’ experience in Logistics and logistics coordinating

Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment.

Exposure to using SAP Business One and Samsara (training opportunities available within the Company).

Computer tools including MS Office programs.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
