Asahi Kasei Bioprocess is growing and seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator in the New England area. You will be responsible for technical customer support, and utilization of marketing and sales tools in support of company objectives. The role is responsible for vetting and progressing all qualified purification leads from all sources and effectively passing those leads to the account management team or SME for follow up and meetings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Inside Sales
Acknowledge customer calls and emails, with timely answers supported by product-training centric usage experience and troubleshooting expertiseGain experience with AKB products and services to provide thoughtful knowledgeable responses to customers to invoke response to continue conversation with Subject matter experts (SME)Create a rolling master list of dates and deliverables for customer inquiryLiaison between customer and various AKBA SME groups (R&D, Logistics, FA, and Sales experts) to identify the best approach to meeting customer needsSmoothly transfer leads to contacts and progress opportunities effectively to SMEContinuously improve approach based on feedback from SME and customers responsesProactively contact customers generated from Massachusetts Training Center (MTC) attendees list, user registers, inquiries, tradeshows, lead scoring list, and other sources of list that require active contactCraft unique messaging for all MTC and inbound customers facing emails that will invoke response and meet KPI for inside sales and MTC goalsMaintain accountability of above metrics and include in monthly reportMaintaining and entering campaigns into Salesforce to track attendance of events and qualified leadsCoordinator
Work with MTC team for event coordination and logistics that consists of day-of support for MTC webinar, training courses and in person coursesIn-person events will be meeting and greeting customers and guests to the MTC and service their needsAssisting AV production company communication and management supportWork with Inside sales manager on event promotions support (social media, local promotion) in conjunction with AKBA marketingADDITIONAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES :
Participate on a limited basis in field responsibilities (customer site evaluations, local tradeshows), 1-2 days, 1 time a month when necessaryCooperate in creation and promotion material for advertisementConduct laboratory and office toursContribute to miscellaneous administrative responsibilities as assignedAssist in AM overflow as directedAttend internal sales meeting 1-2 times per year at offsite location for 3-4 daysMINIMUM / PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Preferred Associate BS or BA, Life science related disciplinePrevious experience in science related sales, inside sales, or customer service role preferredExperience : Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office, Salesforce experience preferredEffective written, verbal and presentation skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS :
Laboratory environment, full knowledge of all safety procedures and willingness to work in virus lab-centric environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Potential for domestic and international travel, as required (The base compensation range for this role is $29-34 an hour. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to : time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
