Job Description and Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction, motivation, discipline, and work review to assigned staff and vendors.
- Serves as the point of contact between the client organizations and technical resources to assess, define, and document business and technical needs.
- Approve time off requests / review time sheets.
- Identifies and proposes training and development workshops for staff.
- Develop employee performance plans and evaluate employee performance.
- Project Management
- Directs the design, planning, and implementation of complex, organization-wide technical projects with minimal direction, including the development of project schedules.
- Coordinating the CAFM project schedule, resources, and tasks with FS, IT, and other organizations.
- Develop estimated timelines and resource requirements for project proposals.
- Communicate to staff and IT Management
- Responds to questions and provide information to management, staff, outside agencies, and the public. Provide status on the project tasks and activities.
- Maintains effective working relationships with JCC stakeholders, especially Facilities Services stakeholders, other JCC organizations, and vendors as a team lead
- Holds daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the CAFM project teams and vendors to discuss project progress and make recommendations to management and JCC Executive steering committees.
- Meets with the managerial and executive staff to discuss specific CAFM / Tririga needs.
- Provide Technical Leadership
- Research complex technical issues related to the Tririga software and the supporting infrastructure, including DB2, WebSphere, and BIRT.
- Analyzes and reviews technical products and services, including vendor support and hardware infrastructure, drafts recommendations.
- Manages ongoing maintenance of products and services, including the selected Tririga vendor support.
- Manages implementation of new and upgraded products and services, including major and minor releases to the Tririga CAFM application
- Review and manage contracts and vendors
- Manages contracts, budget, and SOWs for the CAFM unit, including the existing IBM Tririga contract, the Implementation vendor contract, and all application developers' contracts.
- Manages consulting staff, including the application developer and reporting consultants.

The Judicial Council offers hybrid work arrangements for many positions. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person at the Judicial Council’s San Francisco or Sacramento office at least two days per week, based on their office leader’s direction, and reside in the areas surrounding these locations.
