Position : Information Systems Security Engineer I

Work Location : Onsite, Orlando, Florida

Daily schedule : 40 hours per week, standard business hours

Notes : No C2C, must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Overview : We are searching for an experienced and innovative Information Systems Security Engineer. The Information System Security Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of delivering and maintaining mission critical infrastructure and assist with ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security of company IT assets. This role will support innovative cyber focused engineering projects and tasks associated with organization computer and network systems. An individual who can identify and fix any potential issues related to code / programming or general system errors, fraud, cyber-attacks, leaked data, or other security breaches. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, information systems security engineering, or cyber-analysis. This role requires knowledge of working with secure and cyber-safe principles that support our organization's critical platforms while ensuring robust cybersecurity measures are in place.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Work with security operations center (SOC) and internal cyber resources to spot weak points
• Develop software solutions to close holes in our information systems’ security posture
• Address application and programming security flaws
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively assist in keeping the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Address daily maintenance of cloud, mobile and local system cyber capabilities
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide Tier 1 (onsite / help desk), 2 (subject matter support) and 3 (vendor) support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
