Vaco has partnered with a growing professional services firm in search of a Controller to lead their accounting operations. You’ll oversee audits, manage technical accounting and financial reporting, and drive system and process improvements across the organization. Immense growth opportunity Responsibilities include :

Lead technical accounting research and draft financial statements with supporting disclosures

Manage audits, oversee AP and billing, and drive an efficient month-end close

Implement impactful process improvements and system enhancements across accounting operations

Own and optimize accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Ramp), with strong Excel and reporting skills

Build internal controls and accounting processes from the ground up; bonus for experience with budgeting tools and Power BI suite Requirements :

CPA required

3+ years of public accounting experience required

3+ years of private equity backed company experience required

M&A experience required
