Curriculum & Instructional Designer

to join a dynamic SaaS company here in Chicago. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term growth, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to content creation and instructional design within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Create high-quality videos, training documentation, articles, and materials to support internal and external audiences Develop content in various formats, including PDFs, Word documents, and materials for platforms like Zendesk Collaborate with technical writing and product teams to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and user needs Focus on content creation (70%) and technical writing (30%) to produce accurate, engaging, and user-friendly materials Be open to focusing more on design elements while learning technical writing and content development processes Requirements

Proven experience in content creation and media development, with familiarity working in technical environments or with content creation tools Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment without requiring extensive oversight Basic understanding of content development processes and an eagerness to learn new tools and techniques Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Candidates located near Chicago, with the ability to visit the office 1-2 days per week is highly desired. This is a 10-12 month contract, full-time hours, and fully remote. Preference is for a candidate to live in ET or CT time zones. This position pays $17 / hr - $20 / hr depending on experience.
